ABOUT ME
Hi there and thank you for showing an interest in Wood By Design.

I offer my services to both domestic and commercial clients, working to requirements and/or budgets. Regular areas covered include London, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Hertfordshire but I am always happy to travel further should it be necessary.
​
Using both traditional and modern finishing skills combined with products from long established companies in England and Wales, I can bring furniture, worktops, wooden interiors, staircases and one-off pieces back to life, to be enjoyed again.

I love my job – I knew what I wanted to do as a boy and worked hard to realise that dream. Having attended the Swiss School of Carving and studied at the London College of Furniture, I have over 40 years of experience in this field. I feel privileged to be able to be a French Polisher, find it very satisfying and extremely rewarding.

I am always happy to quote and give honest advice - without obligation. I can do as little or as much as you wish - from removing ring marks, stains and dents to a full restoration or transformation and redesign - you decide and let me know…
